Fax Blast Software (low Cost)?

Does anyone know how to do a fax blast these days, and the name of a good free or low-cost service? I have not done a fax blast in years (back when you had to manually stand at the fax machine!), but my company wants to try a fax blast. I know we can just do it electronically from a PC these days. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    I am pretty sure this is illegal in the U.S. There was a case a few years ago where an attorney got one of these and sued for 50k and won. Now if these people are already customers you should be okay.

    If this works well can you post it or let me know? With the amount of junk faxes, faxes out of paper, unreadable faxes we just haven't found it to be successful

    You may send advertising faxes (in the US) ONLY if you have an established business relationship with the recipient. Every fax must include an opt-out notice and requests must be honored within 30 days.

    I used to work for The DMA, and we stopped using fax promotion because it got too dicey. At the time, there were several states that were trying to ban fax advertising completely. It just got too dicey.

    Does anyone still have a fa x machine :))) Hi hi.

    I think my fax machine has been rotting in the back of a closet since the last 6 years at least. I suspect that most of your prospects also have an old mojo machine also somewhere collecting dust :)

    My advise - for what it is worth.

    Don't waste your time on a project like this.

    Why not make a nice HTML mail and send it instantly to several thousand people for FREE.

    if you do decide to go ahead with faxing, don't forget to figure in the costs of the calls which is expensive :)

    Even if you use Win Fax or J2, you still get charged for the calls on your phone bill at the end of the month.
