I'm using the following script to set appts. with prospects. These are 'cold' calls. My goal of the phone call is to make the appt., not a sale. I like to keep it brief and am not sure what questions I should integrate in to be asking them.
Here is the script:
"Good morning, my name is Stacey and I'm calling with a company called XYZ, inc. which helps businesses reach new families, gain customers and increase customer loyalty through the delivery of our welcome kits.
The reason for my call today is to set up a time to show you our welcome kit and discuss how we can compliment your marketing efforts."
That's it, would you hang up on me or meet w/me? I get a lot of folks wanting me to send them information, which has proved very ineffective for me. I cannot send them an actual sample welcome kit, but once I have the appt and they see the kit in person I close 90% of the appts.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
Stacey
