Online Surveys - Zoomerang Vs. Survey Monkey

Zoomerang vs. Survey Monkey?

Which is better? Does anyone have any comments comparing the two?

Survey Monkey is $19.95 / month
Zoomerang is $75 / month for 1 months use or $599 for the year - unlimited use.

    We used to use zoomerang and then switched to QuestionPro. Like their capabilities and reporting more.

    Thank you - Question Pro also looks like a contender.

    Their interface looks professional and the price is definately right.

    Of the two, I prefer SurveyMonkey because it's easier to use. Zoomerang has a ton of templates, but they weren't useful to me because it was always easier to just build one from scratch. I believe both have the same capabilities in terms of designing questions, answers, and logic. I'd rather pay-as-I-go then pay the lumpsome, too. (I've never used QuestionPro).

    I reviewed SurveyMonkey, Zoomerang, and some others (including stand-alone systems) and found that differences in features and benefits of all of them were indistinguishable or any additional features weren't worth the price difference. SurveyMonkey is fully capable and cheaper. I went that that. I also felt that investing the time to learn all of them just wasn't worth the delay in getting the work done.

    Thank you all for your input. I think we will go with Survey Monkey afterall.

    My first instict was to go with SM, but Zoomerang's website and templates were telling me they may be worth the extra dollars.

    Oh so sad to be the new kid on the block. I guess not enough of our customers read MarketingProfs (we'll work on that).

    You can also try our service called SurveyGizmo (https://www.surveygizmo.com). We have the capabilities of QuestionPro and Zoomerang. But at SurveyMonkey's price. We were built when a bunch of marketers that I work with all started complaining about the survey software that currently exists.

    Jessica -- on a significant plus side: our surveys can trigger auto-responders, form posts to your website and intergares with ExactTarget (and we are working with other ESPs).

    Why not go with the best?

    Look at www.websurveyor.com

    At least they have live support with help on survey writing and a ton of other services. Good luck finding a phone number on survey monkey. I heard they work out of garage! Are you really going to trust your business with a company that you can't even call?

    You should also try www.esurveyspro.com. It has 4 account types (from Free to Enterprise - $800/year), all features of SurveyMonkey and Zoomerang.

    www.survey-solution.net is also worth a look. We switched to this after Survey Monkey became bogged down with advanced features we didn't need.

    It's a lot cheaper and we find it much quicker to use.
