It In Marketing

Hi, I am currently pursuing my MBA (Majoring in Marketing). One of the papers (IT in Marketing) is titled as follows:

"Aware that you are pursuing a Masters degree in marketing, your line manager asks you to use your knowledge of models and concepts of it in marketing to give her a more in-depth knowledge of the actual and potential role of IT in marketing. You are required to critically examine the role that information technology can play in the development and implementation of a customer retention strategy. You are encouraged to use examples to support your discussion. In preparing and writing your assignment you are encouraged to analyse both the technological tools available and their impacts on an organizations structure and employees."

As my forte is not IT, I am stuck even though I have read and am rereading a pile of books. I know it's not ethical or professional to ask someone else to do my work but I am only seeking some professional guidance from you guys. I will do the rest.

    try reading up articles in "the economist". i came across an article before that talks about exactly what youre asking for. i think theres also an online journal available :j
