Wrapping Up 2009: What We Are Working on for You
How is the year-end playing out for you and your teams or organization? Is it business as usual, or are you getting a chance to catch your breath before 2010 (and a new decade!) begins? I hope you are finding some way, among the holiday hoopla, to relax into some quiet and contemplative moments, giving you a chance to reflect on the year that was and anticipate the year that will be. We haven't quite had that luxury yet here at MarketingProfs, because things have been a little... well, busy. But there's still a few weeks, right? In the meantime, here's a peek at what we are working on at MarketingProfs World Headquarters: 1. Facebook Double-Header. Tomorrow and Thursday, in back-to-back online seminars, wunderkind Jeff Widman shares first-hand knowledge on promoting your brand through Facebook and giving rabid customer evangelists something to talk about. Not sure whether you need a Facebook fan page, a group, or just some well-aimed ads? This is the kind of stuff Jeff knows cold. (Side note: I was describing this double-header to someone last week and mistakenly used the phrase "two-header," instead. My companion graciously pretended not to notice. But it was an embarrassing reminder of why I should try to avoid sports analogies, at all costs.) 2. The State of Social Media Marketing Research Report. It's here! This comprehensive report is in a class of its own in both scope and depth. Be sure to take a sneak peek here in this newsletter, or check out the whole thing. 3. B2B types: Do you have a Marketing resolution for 2010? Tell us what it is and you could win a conference ticket and hotel to the MarketingProfs B2B Forum this May 4 & 5 in my hometown, Boston. I have lots more to mention... but I'm running short on room. So I'll wait until next week to share more. See you then... and my best to you as we head into the final few weeks of the decade!
