Live from Boston!
I'm writing this from the MarketingProfs B2B Driving Sales event, which started yesterday in Boston, my hometown. (Hi, everyone!)
As I told the 300-plus attendees yesterday during the morning kick-off, it's a real thrill for me to meet the people who are part of our community here: the writers, the bloggers, the sponsors, and (most of all) the readers. Working as I do in a virtual company doing business in a world that's often virtual, too, I'm reminded anew at in-person events like this that nothing really ever replaces face-to-face conversations. (Or, having yourself drawn by a caricaturist, like Cindy Price did here.) If you'd like to get a sense of what's been going on in Boston, check out the blog coverage and photos below: Live-blogging by Robin Fray Carey at The Customer Collective and Kirk Petersen at Social Media Today. Coverage at the MarketingProfs Daily Fix blog. More photos here from Chris Penn and Chris Brogan. And by the way, if you are here at the event and have photos or blog posts of your own, please let me know.
